2-Aminobenzenesulfonic acid (Orthanilic acid) is an amine derivative. 2-Aminobenzenesulfonic can be used for the synthesis of other active compounds. 2-Aminobenzenesulfonic acid can be converted into Schiff base, and further used for the preparation of metal complexes[1][2].
